My head still spins when I think of the almost-180-degree turns the world needs to make as the newest deadly virus behind the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on lives and economies everywhere. I have been feeling sad, afraid, and uncertain, after seeing, hearing and reading news of death tolls worldwide. But I have been quite silent.

I haven´t been decisive about what to say or how to say about what I felt about this new version of the ancient deadly plagues that once sent shivers to our predecessors. That was until Sunday, the 2nd of August 2020, when I felt a new drive and purpose as a creative writer with a direct access to a potent publication medium, my Web site. I would write again to help bring about the changes I believe could lead to saving more lives and jobs in the next two years, and ensure the survival of living beings as well as the earth that serves as home to these in the longer term. I´ve started this work today, coming up with a new tagline for my Pruds.no blog site: “Think. (Tenk.) Listen. (Lytte.) Act. (Gjør noe.)” These are the words I´d encourage others to mull on and act on in a ”world with a new kind of normal.”
